Getting To Sun Valley

Sun Valley has non-stop commercial air service from sevearl major hubs, including Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Salt Lake City, and Chicago. The Sun Valley airport (SUN) is only 15 inutes from the ski lifts, Ketchum, and Sun Valley resort, making it one of the most convenient airports serving any Western resort area. 

Sun Valley also has a very modern and busy private air terminal, Atlantic Aviation.



If you are driving here, every road leading into the Sun Valley area is beautiful. 
From Boise (2+ hours):
I-84 East to Highway 20 at Mountain Home. Crest Cat Creek Summit and then pass through the Camas Pairie. Turn left at Hwy MM 178 onto ID 75--there is a blinking stoplight so you can't miss this turn. Sun Valley/Ketchum is 25 miles north on ID 75.
From Salt Lake City (4+ hours):
I-15 N and merge onto I-84 West near Tremonton. At MM 173, turn north onto Hwy 93 at Twin Falls, and Sun Valley/Ketchum is about an hour and fifteen minutes north. 
From the east (Idaho Falls/Jackson):
There are multiple ways to make this trip. If you take the route that passes by the stunning Craters of the Moon, it is truly worth a stop.
